01 / THE IDEA BEHIND NUDGEAWAY
Sometimes the hardest part is noticing that you’re still scrolling. A nudge creates a moment to ask whether this is how you want to spend your time.
Awareness comes first. Budgets and pauses give your intentions a little structure when you want it.

Read articleA FEW PRACTICAL QUESTIONS
NudgeAway is an iPhone app for more intentional phone use. You choose app budgets, receive check-ins, organise your allowance across the day, and start Focus sessions. Your chosen boundary style determines what happens when a budget is used.
You decide how much structure you want. Check-ins only keeps access open. Other boundary styles pause selected apps when the chosen allowance and any grace period are used. Focus sessions can pause your selected distracting apps for a set period.
A nudge changes the moment in which a choice is made while preserving the ability to choose. NudgeAway’s reminders follow that idea. Optional app limits and blocking are stronger tools that you deliberately choose; they are distinct from the reminders themselves.
NudgeAway does not read your messages, posts, or browsing content. Its screen-time features use Apple’s Screen Time frameworks, and screen-time data stays on your device. Read the privacy summary for the details.
